Hi im a beginner and trying to learn to play piano, what is the best approach i should take. should i focus on learning to play songs by watching tutorials, should i focus on sight reading or try to play by ear, also is it true that if you learn chords and play the chords of any song in the rhythm of the song will it sound just like the song, this musician at my church told me that, and being a great player is all about rhythm and the correct notes or chord progression. it that true?
